Stateline Community Foundation
The purpose and goals of Stateline Community Foundation’s Community Needs Grant Program is to provide financial support to the programs and services of charitable organizations that enhance the quality of life in the Stateline area.
Criteria for Grant Request
- The submitting organization must be a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
- Funds must be used for programs and services benefitting the Stateline area.
Grant Range
Awards vary, depending on availability of funds.
Letter of Inquiry and Subsequent Grant Proposal Process
In this stage of the application process, the Community Foundation will accept Letters of Inquiry from all interested parties who meet the grant criteria. Letters of Inquiry will be reviewed and selected organizations will be invited to submit a full Grant Proposal.
- Selected organizations will be notified of their status within 10 days following submission of their letter of inquiry.
- Deadline for the invited Grant Proposals are: January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1.
- Final grant awards will be made 6-8 weeks following deadline dates.
How to Submit Letter of Inquiry
Submit one copy of the following:
Completed Letter of Inquiry Cover Page
One (1) page Letter of Inquiry on organization letterhead (no binders or covers) including the following information:
- description of the organization and mission statement
- brief outline of the program or service for which you are seeking funding
- amount of funding requested
- who will benefit from the program or service and how
The organization’s current year’s operating budget
A copy of the Internal Revenue Service letter indicating 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status
Letters of Inquiry that do not inclu de all requested items will NOT be considered.
Forward completed Letter of Inquiry and attachments to statelinecf@aol.com
